Education Required: Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, finance, economics, or business.

Relevant Experience: Certified Appraiser with a nationally recognized organization. At least five years experience; some managerial experience.

Required Skills: Qualified applicants must possess strong knowledge of commercial aircraft, spare parts, and engine values. Must be an experienced and capable writer and speaker.

Desired Skills: Applicable advanced degree, appropriate airline experience, financial modeling experience.

Responsibilities: Morten Beyer & Agnew (mba) is currently seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Director – Valuations, to manage the firm's aviation related appraisal practice. Areas of responsibility include:

• Appraisal services market development;
• Program of continuous improvement of appraisal accuracy and report usefulness;
• Valuation opinions covering commercial aircraft, corporate aircraft, engines, spare parts, and ground service equipment, as well as other aviation assets likely to be used as lending collateral;
• Lead the aircraft future value forecasting efforts;
• Perform forensic appraisals;
• Expert witness projects;
• Publication of on-line and paper reference materials;
• Thought leadership in appraisal field through public speaking, articles, and media interviews; and
• Staff development.
