MBA Expands Business Consulting

WASHINGTON, DC (February 2, 2004): Morten Beyer & Agnew ("MBA") Jeremy Akel, Vice President - Business Consulting of Morten Beyer & Agnew (MBA), announced the appointment Michael Dougherty, a new Manager in the Firm's Business Consulting Practice. "It is our intent that Mr. Dougherty will complement our growing business consulting group. With his extensive database development and operational modeling experience, Michael will continue to add depth to our expanding practice. MBA already provides financial and operational analysis, and now will be able to take its services one step further with enhanced advisory products in operational strategy and planning," Jeremy Akel, Vice President - Business Consulting.

Mr. Dougherty was a former Manager at Global Aviation Associates where he led the creation and development of sophisticated models in route profitability, network optimization, and enterprise valuation. His depth, experience, and ability to develop decision tools complements the Firm's core expertise and will allow MBA to further its capabilities in business advisory services. The Business Consulting Group plans to combine his capabilities with its existing ones and develop high impact decision products, methodologies, and meaningful advice for the Firm's wide array of clients.
