WASHINGTON, DC (March 14, 2000): Morten S. Beyer, Chairman and CEO of the worldwide aviation consultancy, Morten Beyer & Agnew, has been named Chairman Elect of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) Aircraft Appraiser Program, as well as being appointed as an “Appraiser Fellow”, the Society’s highest professional award.
ISTAT, founded in 1983, is an organization of over 700 executives of airlines, financial institutions, suppliers and manufacturers who have an interest in commercial aviation. ISTAT certifies aircraft appraisers’ technical and ethical standards.
Chairman, Mike Metcalf, stated “While the Appraiser Fellow designation speaks for itself, it is appropriate that Mort Beyer shall guide the Program commencing with the new Millennium.”
