WASHINGTON, DC (February 9, 2005): MBA will commence its IATA IOSA Safety Audit program with Taipei based EVA Airways early next month. This is the first of many IOSA Safety Audits that mba will be performing this year among many carriers globally.
The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program provides a standardized operational audit program based on internationally recognized standards and a structured system for the sharing of audits. The 270 IATA member airlines have committed to the audit program. All airlines and airline operational service providers, whether IATA members or not, are encouraged to participate in the IOSA program.
MBA was accredited as an Audit Organization as part of IATA’s IOSA Program (IATA Operational Safety Audit). MBA became only the fifth such Audit Organization in the world to hold such accreditation.
MBA founded in 1992, is an independent international aviation consulting firm specializing in airline management, marketing, maintenance and operations, regulatory compliance, technical support, asset value appraisal and technical analysis, forecasting of commercial jet transport, and general consulting for the aviation industry.
