Gabor Kovacs joins mba

WASHINGTON DC (7 March 2007): mba announces the appointment of Gabor Kovacs, as Managing Director of mba's Business Consulting division. Mr. Kovacs is joining mba from his most recent position with the US FAA as Industry Economist for aviation, where he was responsible for FAA forecasts of aviation demand and aircraft activity.

Prior to working for the US Government, Gabor had an extensive consulting career focused on advising airlines on managing market facing issues that drive profitability. He is highly regarded for his innovative approaches to designing and applying analytical frameworks in developing airline strategies and restructuring programs. At the same time, his hands-on modeling experience has greatly benefited airline management's decision making on critical issues.

Gabor holds an MBA and Bachelors of Economics from the University of Maryland.
