Marcus Wilson joins mba to direct IOSA Program

WASHINGTON DC (26 September 2007): mba announces the appointment of Marcus Wilson, to head mba's IATA Operational Safety Audit program. As the mba Director of Safety, Quality and Asset Management, Mr. Wilson will also be responsible for the maintenance and engineering aspects of mba aircraft appraisals and aircraft asset management programs. Mr. Wilson is joining mba from his most recent position with Compass Airlines where, as Senior Manager of Technical Engineering, he was responsible for re-engineering the airline processes to meet initial air carrier certification.

Prior to working for Compass Airlines, Marc served as Director of Technical services for, now bankrupt, Independence Air (Dulles Virginia). During his tenure at Independence Air, Marc developed engine maintenance programs while working to improve regulatory compliance and process efficiency. Other airline positions include American Eagle and Simmons Airlines. His aviation career also includes notable engineering positions with both ATR and Shorts where he focused on heavy maintenance requirements and customer support issues.
